⊰ — There was a young woman waiting beside the curb of the road, just as he, awaiting for a cab in the cold of the winter, now facing the change to spring, and his eye had been caught, just for a moment. The two had been waiting for just about the same amount of time, she having arrived shrotly after he, though she seemed to shiver from the chilled breeze. Just as a cab approached, their eyes met and Noah flashed his pearly white teeth in a brilliant smile, tipping his head forward in his bold manner. “Where are you headed? Maybe we can share a taxi?”
The hour is late, and she began to regret not driving in her own car. What is her liscene for, anyway? She barely used her vehicle, it only kept on collecting dust in the building’s parking lots. And the brisk which casued the eremely sensitive blonde to tremble did ot assist her mood, either. To her fortune, the savoir (that is, the taxi) came rather uickly than she expected. Well, quick enough as she waited for quite long.
“Ah…” Home? She smiled in response, but only a tad bit. “It’s not so far, let’s just share it.” It was a better idea than to begin arguing or simply, discussing who’s going where and how long the drive will take. Money? That did not mater to her, not then. All she wanted to do was to get in the damn car before she turns into a human popsicle – of course, she was exaggerating, but the cold never caused any positive emotions in her. "Come on, don’t stay long in the cold…“
