Frustration. That was the only feeling he seemingly could name as he sat there, staring at the young female; crass words that did not even surprise him any more. “Don’t apologise—” he started, but drew in a breath as she fumbled to speak.
Eyebrows furrowed together, lips turning down in a slight frown and he could not be damned to even give in to her explanation and want to wash his freaking dishes. He was not five, for God’s sake! He stood up from his place as she finished up, taking his dishes as he spared her a glance.
“It’s rather rude to be barging into another person’s home, wanting to clean their place, when — excuse my language — it’s not their fucking chore,” he said, rinsing the dishes before putting them away in the dishwasher. “Sorry for being concerned about your well-being when you ignore half of the things that comes out of my mouth. You couldn’t care less if my place was completely spotless, because fright be with you, you’d go on a tirade to clean an already cleaned place.”
Well, then at that point he was just exagarrating. Jaekyung? Being rude? Of course she coul.rd behave in an ungaily way towards other people if they triggered it out of her, but he was close to her, why would she want to make him upset, or angered? Supposely, she might have over-reacted, but his words, to her unfortunate, did stab at a piece of her chest. Usually, she wouldn’t pay much attention to bold speaking, and Junseok being close to her… she wouldn’t let it affect her much. Or rather, that could have been caused her to feel ever worse.
“Look…” she uttered with a tender sigh emitting her lips, gaze remained fixated over the table, or somewhere around that surface. “I didn’t mean to make you mad, I just thought… maybe you were tired and I could do something for you, while you rest. I’m sorry, alright? For… dropping on you out of the blue, having you to host me, for speaking like this–” Her words genuine, and lip bit, she glanced only at his general direction, somewhat wary of witnessing his facial expression that he wore that moment. She could still feel something clenching inside herb ribcage “I’m sorry, if I’m a bother, I’d leave, alright? It’s fine– I just don’t want to cause you anymore stress.” God knew how much stress that man had at work, enough for a lifespan.
